About Rachael

A woman with brown hair and a black top sitting on a white box in an art studio, with canvases and artwork in the background.

Rachael grew up with creativity as a big part of her life—painting, photography, anything that allowed her to make something of her own.

But like many people, as adulthood became busier, creativity slowly faded into the background. She found herself conforming to the routines of everyday life, gradually losing touch with that part of herself.

One night, while revamping her home on a small budget, Rachael decided to paint something for her wall. She had no expectations—she simply wanted to create for the sake of it. As she painted, she experienced a moment that reminded her exactly what it felt like to slow down and truly create. It was both emotional and freeing at the same time. Rediscovering her creativity that night was the turning point that led her becoming a full-time artist.

Her inspiration comes from her daily tension between the modern world and her deep desire to stay connected to nature. She creates layered paintings and mixed-media pieces that invite close inspection, using subtle palettes, gestural marks, and found materials to evoke atmosphere rather than explicit narrative. Each work is created with the intention that it feels timeless, lived with, bringing a sense of calm and depth to the spaces we inhabit.
